MPPPU Dinner 2009/2010

Our MPPPU Dinner 2009/2010 was held on 30th October, 2010 (Saturday) with the theme entitled 'Together Fragments Form Perfection'. Everyone was really excited about it even days or weeks before the dinner. Some were already talking about it, others were already cracking their heads about WHAT TO WEAR on that night (I guess this not only refers to girls :P ).

The dinner was officially started by completing the puzzle on the backdrop, which was conducted by our respected VIPs for the night.
The final piece was brought into the hall via a truck

Here are some performances for that night:
An Indian Dance
A  unique 'martial arts' performance

A song presentation by the juniors - 'Amazing Grace'
3 songs presented by STK's very own 'rock star' - Lim Ce Kie
Together with violinist - Xue Qi, guitarist - Eleen
And pianist - Qian Ru
Not forgetting the final performance by Miss Neo and the junior AJKs singing 'Proud Of You'

The climax of the night was during the installation of the incoming AJK of MPPPU.

Removing the nametags - Stepping down after a year of faithful service
Taking off their blazers - Passing it on to the next generation

The night ended with a farewell song, which was composed and also performed by the incoming AJK.

We hope that everyone had a blast on that memorable night. Once again, a BIG THANKS to Miss Neo Sau Fong, Senior and junior AJK of MPPPU, and all the willing helpers/performers! :)

Koko Day 2010

Koko Day was held on the 17th June 2010 in Sekolah Tinggi Kluang, involving all students including Lower and Upper Six students. Many clubs and even classes took this opportunity to rent a stall in order to organize games, sell food or provide dedication of songs' services. As for MPPPU, two stalls were rented selling food [ burger and yogurt] and games [ bingo etc.] Students had lots of fun and put hard work for this day.

Orientation 2010

Orientation was held from 10 May to 14 May 2010 to register and welcome the in-coming Lower Six students. Students had a chance to mix around, interact thus know more about the school and Form Six. Activities such as motivation talk, trip around the school, station games and sketch were carried out. Students had lots of fun and learnt a lot.
AJK Lim Ce Kie and Lim Qian Ru were the Masters of Ceremony of the event.

Students were urged to follow the rules and regulations set by the school. Miss Neo gave her speech as to guide the students in obeying school's authorities.
Miss Foo gave a talk about STPM examination and its format, mark calculations, etc. Students were greatly benefited from her talk. :]

Most of the time, students were gathered at Complex Sukan or school hall.

Students were brought around the school by the committee members as leaders.

Games were carried out and students travel in groups. They were asked to solve mathematics questions,
...dances,

...play tricky games,
..and run around the school to search for clues!

One of those days, an incomplete sketch was performed by the Upper Six students and Lower Six students are asked to act and show the ending of that incomplete story. Discussions were carried out and they performed the following day.
Students learnt to communicate with one and another thus lead their teams.
"Boss and Lady-in Charge" :P

Richest of the day!

Having fun in the midst of all. :D
